For Special Delivery, delivery will usually occur before 1.00pm the next working day (all being well with Royal Mail). Local Collect deliveries usually arrive at your chosen Post Office within 1-2 working days, whilst Tracked 24 and 48 hr are delivered within 1-3 working days, depending on your selected delivery type.

You can choose to have your medication delivered to your home, place of work or a nominated local Post Office for you to collect from. Please bear in mind that with some of our delivery options, you must show photo identification when signing for your parcel.

It is prohibited to accept returns of prescription medication - we therefore cannot accept returns or give refunds unless faulty or sent incorrectly.

Delivery charges explained

Other online pharmacies  may offer you a cheap '2nd class post' service, or something similar. This often means your medication will be shoved through the letterbox, with the risk of somebody else either illegally or accidentally picking up the parcel, such as a small child, flatmate, or even a pet destroying it!

Therefore, the old saying 'you get what you pay for' has never been more true. We offer a wide range of delivery options to suit your needs, but all types have proof from Royal Mail that the parcel has arrived to you. Unlike other pharmacies, we have now given our patients the option to use a Special Delivery 1pm ID Verification Service. With this, only you can obtain the parcel as you are both required to sign for it and show photo identification to receive it. No other person can illegally obtain your parcel. Therefore, there is added security for both us, and our patients.

However, we believe any concerns about paying delivery charges can be offset in the fact we have drastically lowered the price of our treatments across the board. Our prices are incredibly competitive and you will struggle to find cheaper on the internet.

Will Coronavirus (COVID-19) effect my delivery?

Please note that during these difficult and unprecedented times, Royal Mail have stated: "We may not be able to meet the customer promise of guaranteed next day delivery in all locations, at all times of the Special Delivery by 1pm service.”

Therefore, Medical Specialists® will not be held liable if there is a slight delay with your delivery (e.g. 1 or 2 days). Moreover, you will not be entitled to a refund for your delivery cost for the order, due to Royal Mail delays being out of our hands.

When will my Parcel be dispatched?

We aim to dispense and dispatch all orders within 24 hours of prescriber’s approval, on weekdays or on the next working day if placed at the weekend.  For next day delivery (UK only), orders must be placed and approved before 3:15pm Monday to Friday and all being well with Royal Mail, are guaranteed for delivery on the next working day by 1pm. Obviously, we cannot control the actual time it may take for an order to be delivered, as this will be dependent on the carrier and other circumstances.

We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes (UK or overseas).  Once dispatched, you will be emailed a tracking number, so that you can follow the progress of your order.

Please note that we do everything we can to dispatch orders as soon as possible. Once an order has left our pharmacy, the speed of delivery is dependent on Royal Mail and not us. Therefore, we will not be held liable if there is a slight delay with your delivery (e.g. 1 or 2 days). Moreover, you will not be entitled to a refund for your order or the delivery cost for the order due to unforeseen delays with Royal Mail.

Returns

Unfortunately it is prohibited to accept returns of prescription medication - we therefore cannot accept returns or give refunds unless faulty or sent incorrectly - please be sure that the medication you order is what you actually want / need by discussing with your own doctor / physician.

In the event that you are entitled to a refund, please note the refund will be made by the same method used to pay for the order. Credit card companies will only allow refunds to be made to the card used to pay for the original order. Please be aware that it can take as long as 10 working days or more for a refund to be acknowledged by your bank or credit card company. Your statutory rights are not affected by this. Any delay in a payment being credited back to your account is not down to us and is due to your own bank/credit card company not releasing the funds back to you yet.

Please note that deliveries are made to the delivery address you supply to us when you order. Re-delivery of any returned orders will incur an additional delivery charge of £10.00 to cover postage and packing. If you have any questions regarding delivery times, or to check that an item is in stock, or any other query, you can call our customer service team on +44 (0) 161 762 9108 or email us at [email protected]

PLEASE NOTE: If you DO NOT pay for your returned item(s) after a further 90 days, your package will be destroyed. Any fridge item  that returns to us will automatically have to be destroyed  due to the nature of the item. You will not  be entitled to any refund or replacement medication for any medication that has been destroyed.

Additional Information for Deliveries to Jersey

As of 07/08/2023, Royal Mail have confirmed: "For Special Delivery Guaranteed there will no longer be a next day guaranteed service to JE postcodes (JE1-4)."

Therefore, Medical Specialists® cannot be held liable for delivery delays to these postcodes or offer refunds for postage due to a delay with Royal Mail.

Additional Information for Overseas Deliveries

We are able to supply orders to certain countries for a delivery charge of £10.00, by Royal Mail International Signed For and equivalent international services.

Delivery includes packing, postage and insurance. We only use completely opaque packaging, with no indication of its contents. An additional charge may be added depending on the weight of your order and the destination.

Due to legislation we cannot send parcels to: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and Sweden.

Since the beginning of Brexit (the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union), certain individual countries have placed restrictions on the types of products that may be delivered into them. In instances where your order is seized by customs, Medical Specialists® will not be able to offer a refund for orders not delivered under these circumstances. Medical Specialists® will also not be responsible for any fees or taxes levied by customs or such like. It is your responsibility to fully check the type of imported items that are permissible into your country before placing any order with us.

Please read our Terms & Conditions for further information about deliveries, in addition to our refunds policy. If you have a complaint, please go to our Contact Us page for further information.
