How does Regaine for Women work?

When considering how Regaine for Women works, we must first remember that Minoxidil was first developed as a tablet to treat hypertension (better known as high blood pressure). Clinical trials found that strangely, excessive hair growth was a side effect.

With this in mind, further research discovered how hair growth could also be stimulated by applying Minoxidil as a solution directly onto to the scalp. Minoxidil works by dilating tiny blood vessels in the scalp, increasing blood supply to the hair follicles. It is this process that is believed to stimulate the hair growth.

Although some women may have ferritin level problems (related to iron). On this basis, we highly recommend that female patients take Florisene therapy whilst using Regaine for Women.

How to use Regaine for Women

Apply a 1ml dose to the total affected area twice daily (with a 12 hour interval in between) using the appropriate applicator as outlined in the manufacturer’s instruction leaflet.

Each applicator is designed to accurately release a 1ml dose when used as described in the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL).

Do not exceed 2ml in a day and do not use more than twice a day.
