The treatment is very expensive, still in early stages of research, and may not totally eradicate a growth. However, it does have it’s benefits. Dr Alfred Lane, a professor of dermatology and pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine commented: “but if it can reduce it to the size that they can remove it, that would be good”.
