61 year old John Henry Atkinson has received a nine month prison sentence, suspended for two years, for promoting the sale of unlicensed male impotence medication. An investigation by the MHRA discovered that John Henry Atkinson was illegally promoting the sale of the drugs and seized £53,000 worth of drugs in September 2009. The seizures consisted of two boxes containing an estimated 7,000 Kamagra (an illegal counterfeit of Viagra) tablets, a box containing 2,000 Savitra tablets, a carrier bag of 61 Apcalis 20mg oral jelly (illegal counterfeit versions of Cialis)  sachets and ten boxes containing Kamagra 100mg oral jelly sachets, according to the MHRA. Atkinson pleaded guilty on July 26, 2010 to the sale of Kamagra and Apcalis, which are unlicensed medicines. He was sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday.
