Fake Viagra Sales Alledgedly Funding North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons

viagraMedical Specialists® Pharmacy have repeatedly warned our patients about the dangers of buying ‘cheap Viagra’ through untrusted sources. Erectile dysfunction treatment Viagra, indeed any type of medication whatsoever, should only ever be obtained online from a respected and fully registered pharmacy.

It must be frustrating for patients to have to sift through illegal websites that are undoubtedly still clogging up search engines such as Google, but could many of these have been set up courtesy of the North Korean Government?

As shocking and absurd as this notion may seem to some, The Daily Star has made these claims, citing ‘intelligence sources’ to back-up it’s report. The article discusses Kim Jong-un’s apparent evil scheme to flood the world with counterfeit Viagra and other fake goods in order to rake in millions each and every year.

The intelligence sources say that hundreds of dodgy websites have been crafted with the purpose to flog inexpensive counterfeit copies of male impotence drug Viagra. Obviously genuine Pfizer Viagra can work wonders at giving men an erection boost for sex, but these fake Viagra tablets are said to actually cause impotence, in addition to other unwanted side effects.

The useless Viagra tablets are being sold on the internet for as little as £2 per tablet in over 100 countries around the globe, helping the North Korean regime to plunder in around £500 million a year, the Star reports. It is said that counterfeit DVDs and banknotes are also being manufactured and sold to further boost profits.

This huge haul is believed to be aimed at funding their nuclear weapons programme. One insider said: “Counterfeiting is a state-funded enterprise in North Korea. They have no real exports so they manufacture lots of fake drugs and target Western markets.”

It is being claimed that the counterfeit Viagra is being churned out by a slave labour force in a factory near the capital Pyongyang. The sources add that fake tablets are tested out on workers in the factory, with some dying from heart attacks and breathing difficulties.

The Star’s insider added: “Viagra is one of their main drugs. Some versions have been found to contain some of the ingredients that are in real Viagra but North Korean Viagra has not been clinically tested so you have no idea what you are taking”, listing “visual problems, fainting, dangerous changes in blood pressure and heart problems” as some of issues that can arise from taking the tablets.

Shockingly, the insider also commented: “People have complained that their penis size has reduced after taking the fake drug.”

Dr Tommy Dolan, from drug manufacturer Pfizer, said it is often difficult to tell apart genuine Viagra from the cheaper knock-offs as they are both produced to be a blue-coloured diamond shape tablet, and some of the counterfeits are even branded with the company’s logo.

Many believe men choose to buy Viagra online due to feeling too embarrassed to speak to their doctor about impotence problems, and the NHS will only issue four pills at a time.
