What is Levitra ODT Orodispersible?
Levitra ODT (Vardenafil) is a treatment of erectile dysfunction, a condition whereby a man cannot manage to achieve or maintain an erection firm enough for sex. Levitra ODT is a type of medicine known as a PDE5 inhibitor. It is ideal for those men who find swallowing a tablet to be problematic, or even embarrassing. A dissolvable tablet is a quicker and more discrete way of treating ED, and is easier to carrier around with you. You could simply store one of the little sachets in your wallet for example.
How does Levitra ODT Orodispersible work?
Levitra ODT is effective for around 5 hours, just like regular Levitra. The orodispersible tablet rapidly dissolves on the tongue and the active ingredient Vardenafil is then absorbed into the bloodstream. Unlike regular Levitra and other oral ED medications, Levitra ODT does need to be taken with water, and therefore has the advantage of allowing men to be more discrete when taking their ED medication.
Similar to other PDE5 inhibitors, Levitra ODT works by aiding blood vessels to dilate. When this process occurs, it’s much easier for blood to flow into the penis during sexual stimulation, enabling stronger, firmer erections.
How to take Levitra ODT Orodispersible
Take the ODT tablet around 1 hour before sex. Do not remove the tablet from the blister pack until the point you are actually taking it and do not crush the tablet.
Place the tablet in the mouth, on the tongue, where it should dissolve in seconds, then you will need to swallow it with saliva. Do not take it with any liquid.
What are the possible side effects of Levitra ODT Orodispersible?
Side effects are rare, and most people don’t get any. Possible side effects may vary from one person to the next, as with any medication. You should always read the manufacturer’s Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) before taking this or any other medication.
