How does Aldara Cream work?
Aldara Cream helps your body’s own immune system to produce natural substances which help fight the virus that has caused your warts.
The active ingredient in Aldara – Imiquimod – helps the immune system to kill off wart cells.
It does this by attaching to skin cells, helping in the release of proteins called cytokines. These proteins help fight off viral cells responsible for warts, stopping their growth pattern, and causing them to die.
