Weight loss pill that tells your brain you are full

A new diet pill has been invented that tells the brain to stop eating. The weight loss drug contains Leptin, a hormone the boady naturally uses to signal that it is full. Developing the drug will a "great contribution to public heath" in the fight to tackle obesity researchers say.

The finding is based on research on Mice, whose bodies use leptin as an appetite regulator, they added "Mice deprived of Leptin will not stop eating, they become so big that they cannot move around" said study author Prof Moose Bendayan of Montreal University.

It has been proven to be an appetite suppressant when injected but the latest devolpment would see it taken in pill form. "The molecule is easy to synthesize and the protocol is ready", added Prof Bendayan, who plans more tests this year.
