German customs catches fake Viagra dealers

German customs have announced they have caught a fake Viagra ring supplying millions of fake Viagra tablets throughout the country.

The operation under an initiative codenamed “Blue” involved 60 customs officers, seven prosecutors and 25 tax investigators turned up a stockpile of 46,000 counterfeit erectile dysfunction pills destined for online & mail-order distribution throughout the UK & Europe .

Viagra requires a Doctors prescription and cannot be sold online without one. Germany’s pharmaceutical laws can carry a prison term of up to 10 years. Authorities have warned that counterfeit Viagra often fails to meet basic safety and quality standards, and anyone taking counterfeit Viagra could be damaging there health or could even result in death.
