What is Levitra?
Levitra is a prescription based drug for Erectile Dysfunction. Like Viagra and Cialis, Levitra is a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor (PDE-5). All of these drugs function in essentially the same way. Levitra relaxes muscles and increases blood flow to the penis. Levitra (also called vardenafil HCl) is not a cure for ED, you need to take it each time you want to have sex.
Levitra dosage and how to take Levitra?
Levitra is available in 10mg and 20mg dosage from Medical Specialists. Do not take Levitra more then once daily. Levitra should not be combined with any other ED drugs like Viagra or Cialis. The maximum dose for Levitra is 20mg. Levitra can start working within 15 minutes. Levitra works well even after a meal, However a high fat meal can slow absorption of Levitra.
Do not take Levitra in the following cases

- If you use recreational drugs called Poppers
- If you are taking Alpha Blockers (for prostate or High Blood Pressure)
- If you are allergic to Levitra
- If sexual activity can cause cardiovascular problems for you

- Heart disease
- A recent history of heart attack
- Stroke (in the past six months)
- have low blood pressure or high blood pressure
- Angina
- Stomach ulcer
- Blood cell disorder
- Physical deformity of penis
- Bleeding disorder
- Liver disease
- Kidney disease
- Retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic eye disease
Levitra side effects
The most common side effects of Levitra are headache, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, and upset stomach. These side effects should go away within a few hours however if they persist, or incase you have any other serious side effects, you should contact your Doctor.
